It Takes Time

When I met Natalie at a job interview I was excited to know she’d be coming onboard, and then immediately disappointed she was married. After several years of a failed marriage, Nat moved on to a new city and job. Only then did she realize that my friendship and time as a colleague was also my effort in proving my worth as a partner. We decided that life is too short, and going for it was certainly worth the wait. Once we realized what we have emotionally is also represented in an absolute perfect sexual chemistry (not only what we like, but what we also want to try) we lay in the afterglow realizing that it was certainly worth the wait.
