Rain Is Followed By Pleasure

It is an old German saying that rain is followed by sunshine. In these crazy times I often think of this saying while I'm practicing physical distancing and longing for a sexual encounter. I fantasize about the first time after this period of sexual deprivation when I will go on a date or to a sex-positive club all by myself to find the right person or group to start over - and how - after a first caution towards this close encounter, which we all have internalized - the sexual energy that has accumulated in the last months breaks through in a wild and hedonistic way - the time of abstinence is followed by pleasure.
