Anne Marina Fidler (a.k.a Poppy Cox) is a multidisciplinary artist and performer. Her work explores themes of sexuality, feminism and otherness, often using elaborate costumes and props to create playful and surreal environments. After training at the University of the Arts in London, she developed her performance practice in cabaret and fronted the art/noise collective, Le Couteau Jaune. From 2011-2016 she was the creative director of Bike Smut, an international touring film festival of erotic bicycle movies celebrating human-powered transportation and sex positivity. She supports her artistic practice as a sex worker and costume designer, which informs her work. Currently based in Berlin, she continues to direct both erotic and non-erotic short films, as well as create and perform in live art, video and installation.
