- 9/4/2023 · Brain FetishThere is something totally bittersweet about sexual and romantic relationships in that they always eventually have to end one way or another, but despite the mix of grief and gratitude spoken of, this is probably the best ending one could hope for in a relationship ending. Some may refer to this kind of separation as a "conscious uncoupling". To be able to separate in this way takes maturity, empathy and respect from both parties, which is why it seems to be the exception as opposed to the norm, However if achieved, I believe allows for faster healing and deeper trust and intimacy in future relationships.
