Welcome to the womb; the safest place on earth. In the hopes of conceiving, a couple take a chance to visit a fertility ritual and end up experiencing much more than they could have ever imagined. This powerful short film is an emotional marriage of dance and sex drawing you into a sexual experience that transcends words. Helping nature does what she does best, the dancers cast a hypnotic spell on both the characters and the audience, relaying the passion and the tender affection of this journey.
This was an incredibly emotional and rewarding short film to make. We had a huge crew of dancers who worked so hard to make our utopian vision come to life. The fusion of dance and sex is a perfect and powerful pairing that captures the emotions and sentiments that dialogue sometimes can’t. And with the chemistry between Natalie and Sylvan - I really couldn’t have asked for more!
