Mezzi / Julie Gomez

Mezzi is a filmmaker from Brooklyn, NY, but has grown up and lived in Louisiana and Texas, and originally born in Colombia. She's pieced together culturally like Frankenstein's monster. She worked as a producer and director in New York City for 9 years before she transplanted to Barcelona to escape the concrete jungle for awhile. As an artist and filmmaker she gets pleasure from creating work that is personal and unapologetic. His Funeral, her first adult film, is based on her own experience.

It might not seem like it in regards to her XConfessions first film, but she does have a sense of humor, however dark it may be, and sometimes says sorry when she's an asshole.
