CATBERRYJUICE

“Pyörii niinku puolukka pillussa” vanha suomalainen sanonta kuvaa tänään niitä, jotka ei malta pysyä paikoillaan ja on aina tekemässä liian montaa asiaa samaan aikaan. Maanantaista perjantaihin oon sidottu normeihin, uskomuksiin, työhön ja kaavoihin. Haluaisin päästää eläimen itsessäni vapaaksi ja seurata mihin puolukat mua vie. 

There is an old Finnish saying: “pyörii niinku puolukka pillussa” (spinning around like a lingonberry in a vagina). The origin of it remains a mystery. Nowadays the saying is connected to the behaviour of people like me: people who cannot stay still and who are always doing too many things at the same time. I feel tied and tired with all the norms, beliefs, patterns and work. From Monday to Friday I’m performing the same ritual. I wish I could just let the primal animal in me free and explore where the berries lead me.
