Vera Rodriguez was born in Spain where she graduated at Journalism. She moved to London and took a BA at Photographic Arts. Her photographic approach is a journalistic one -gonzo style- where she tells stories from the inside, sometimes being part of the story herself. She has worked in Peep Shows and as a stripper for many years and stands for sex workers rights. She is a member of the East London Strippers Collective, X-talk organisation and a cast member of the Sex Worker's Opera. She has recently moved to Amsterdam where she is a Programme Associate of the Red Umbrella Fund.
