Solène Milcent
Solène Milcent’s work is an exploration of our personal relation to ourselves, others and nature. She is known for her use of analog photography, as a way to slow down time, enjoying the process, away from screens and a busy and hectic life. In 2019, she started to work in fashion, focusing on collaborations with a new range of sustainable brands led by female designers. Her work has since been featured in several independent magazines.
Questioning her own sexuality, she started a new project under the name “Lou la belle Amie”. She wanted to explore the erotism of women's bodies through her own eyes, a female gaze. Breaking the common rules of women being photographed by men, and questioning women’s representation and sexuality in our society.
