Eliya Akbaş is a filmmaker and fine art photographer, currently based in Barcelona. He grew up between cultures (French, Turkish, Jewish) and he has been mostly influenced by one's personal development of her/his identity.
He is driven by stories who deal with the melancholy and the wonder of each individual to find her/his place in the society.
Through this project he wanted to question the spectator gaze towards his/her own fantasy, whether we just want to see or be part of it.
