Un escudo hecho de vino

A Sexual Fantasy

— By Krelick

Estoy harto, harto y cansado.

I'm fed up, sick and tired. Tired of Christmas, of pretending that I'm happy. I'm sick of my family, and of hers. It hurts my cheeks to fake a smile. I fed up of nougats and falsehood. But here I am, playing safe behind a glass of cheap wine and laughing at the same jokes, year after year.

I'd like to go, to pass these annoying dates outside, away from everything... Yes, joining a group of mysterious strangers and traveling far north. We would break into the night, in a thick, dark forest, all silent... we would reach a clearing and set up some fire. We'd remove our clothes and trust to fire and alcohol to warm our bodies. We would take hallucinogenic mushrooms under the stars and would love ourselves as if we were one being.

In the middle of the climax, she would appear among the flames. A perfect figure moving slowly toward me with outstretched arms. The world would stop, suddenly cease groans and crackling of the fire, and she gradually withdraw its goat mask and show me her face... that year she would choose me and everyone would stand in a circle to see us making love until dawn.

In the morning, I'd wake up alone and happy in the forest, alive and free. And yet... owing nothing. Nothing, period. Now I should be eating pussies, not shrimp heads. And my glass is empty. Again.

- Javier, sweetheart, do me a favor and get me a little wine.
